Shell Malaysia will show how they blended the DROPS Metaverse into their DROPS training. They use virtual reality to support and ensure their program’s success.
Attendees can delve into the DROPS Metaverse at various exhibitors, such as Stopdrop Tooling, Dropsafe, and Axess Group. They can learn how to integrate it into their own DROPS Training Programs.
Transocean will introduce an innovative system called HaloGuard. It guarantees safe access to the drill floor by controlling personnel entry and automatically recognizing them. The system keeps track of personnel and equipment locations on the drill floor. It tells authorized and unauthorized personnel apart, effectively preventing collisions between human workers and moving machines. HaloGuard greatly enhances control and monitoring of drill floor access. It allows equipment to stop when needed to avoid potential accidents or injuries.
